HOW THE SCORING WORKS.

Every team gets a score out of 100. Highest score wins the day. Fastest time earns its own honour. Whether you chase the points or take it easy is up to you!

Pace – up to 25 points

The Island rewards the swift. Two hours is the benchmark, worth 20 points.

  • For every full five minutes under two hours, you gain a point, up to 25.
  • For every full five minutes over, you lose a point.
  • Teams taking 3 hours 15 minutes or more score a flat 5 points.

Your optional break isn’t included in your playing time.

Trail – up to 35 points

Every team starts with 30 Trail points.

  • HINT helps you solve a clue; LOST helps you find the next location. Either costs 1 point.
  • Wrong answers cost 1 point each too, so repeated guesses can quickly add up.
  • Crack the bonus challenge to add 5 extra points.

Mystery – up to 40 points

The finale holds two decisions, worth 20 points each. But take care… points only land for the mission your team commits to.

The story may forgive a change of heart. The scoreboard will not.
